Pier pride as Eiléanór named finalist for national award

After 18 months smashing it out the park at Pier, our dynamic Account Manager Eiléanór Dixon has been shortlisted for Young Professional of the Year at the 2022 PRMoment Awards, and we couldn’t be prouder. Find out why.

After 18 months smashing it out the park at Pier, our dynamic Account Manager Eiléanór Dixon has been shortlisted for Young Professional of the Year at the 2022 PRMoment Awards, and we couldn’t be prouder.

Eiléanór started at Pier mid-pandemic in 2020 and made a huge impact from day one. She has worked on some of our best-known consumer brands, including Del Monte and Greene King, delivering PR, social media and influencer campaigns. Eiléanór joined us an Account Executive but was quickly recognised for her skills and promoted twice in her first year, first to Senior Account Executive and most recently to Account Manager.

For Del Monte, Eiléanór devised an engaging social media campaign during the Great British Bake Off. This campaign achieved significantly higher than average engagement for the channel, with a reach of 17K and impressive 8% engagement rate. Eiléanór also runs the Del Monte press office, securing numerous pieces of quality consumer lifestyle coverage, including Metro, Take a Break, My Weekly and Closer magazine, as well multiple spots in leading trade title, The Grocer.

Eiléanór has worked tirelessly to deliver a diverse content strategy for multiple Greene King social media accounts, delivering impressive channel performance. She helped us achieve a 13.35% engagement rate on Ice Breaker Pale Ale’s Facebook page (representing a yoy growth of 641%), a 16.76% engagement rate on Old Speckled Hen’s Facebook page (250% yoy growth) and grew Greene King Brewery’s Instagram followers by 35%.

Clients love Eiléanór’s watertight account management and constant stream of fresh, on-trend ideas. We all love having her as part of the team – she’s a great mate, loads of fun and ready to take everybody on when the never-ending debate whether she’s a Millennial or Gen Z crops up.

Everyone at Pier is thrilled that she has been shortlisted, a huge achievement in itself, and we can’t wait for the final. Good luck Eiléanór!
