New national client wins

Award-winning communications agency Pier has boosted its business with a raft of new client wins.

‘Free from’ spread range Pure, East Cambridgeshire District Council and global beverage producer Finlays are among the names that have been added to Pier’s roster of clients. Cold-pressed raw sauce producer The Saucy Affair and charity Re-cycle have also joined the books.

Based on the Suffolk coast, Pier is an integrated agency known best for its work in the renewables, professional services and food and drink sectors.

East Cambridgeshire Council, Finlays and Re-cycle have all commissioned design projects from this fast-growing division at Pier.

Managing Director Kate Bowden Smith commented: “We are increasingly finding that clients prefer to work with an agency with several different strings to its bow, and our design division is blossoming.”

As the nation enjoys this years’ The Great British Bake Off, Pier’s specialist food and drink team has been running an integrated campaign for dairy-free spread range Pure. Revamping the brand’s website, Pier has also used PR and influencer marketing to launch Pure’s refreshed look and new Perfect Baking product.

Pier is spearheading a PR drive to generate interest in a crowdfunding campaign for The Saucy Affair and reach potential investors. Owner Tanya Robertson-Lambert commented: “Pier has been incredibly supportive of our ambitions and is going to every effort to make sure our crowdfunding is a success.”

Bolstering its renewable energy credentials, Pier has also been briefed on a new electrical infrastructure campaign for existing client, Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult.

A long-established presence in East Anglia, Pier took home four wins at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) PRide Awards 2018, cementing its position as one of the region’s most well-regarded and successful agencies.
