New expertise added at Pier

Award-winning agency Pier PR & Marketing has appointed marketer Kate Southgate to the role of copywriter.

Kate’s appointment at Pier PR is the latest in a series of significant hires for the Felixstowe based PR agency, which is in a period of exceptional growth.

Having worked in marketing for seven years, Kate joins Pier from marketing agency Banbury Howard. An experienced marketer and specialist copywriter, Kate has turned her hand to numerous writing challenges, from award entries and editorial to a wide variety of digital content. Having won awards for past projects, she has a passion for creating impactful campaigns and getting results for her clients.

Kate commented: “I have always been impressed with the breadth of Pier’s clients and quality of work, and am thrilled to have this opportunity to join the team at an exciting time for the company. PR and marketing is a fast-paced and ever changing industry and I am really looking forward to sinking my teeth into a wide range of campaigns and projects.”

As an integral part of the Pier team, Kate will be responsible for writing creative copy for many of Pier’s clients, as well as delivering a range of marketing solutions.
