Pier is delighted to announce the appointment of two significant new members, who join the team to fulfil ongoing expansion plans.
The first of the new appointments is Amy Bendall, who joins Pier after more than a decade in the PR industry, most recently within the communications team at pub retailer and brewer, Greene King.
Amy has an impressive record of implementing and leading powerful PR campaigns with global organisations such as Friends of the Earth, Procter & Gamble (P&G) and Specsavers.
She said: “I have always admired the quality work that Pier does, so it is a real pleasure to be joining the team, especially at an exciting time of growth for the company.
“I am really looking forward to getting stuck in and helping to deliver the exceptional results Piers’ clients have come to expect.”
Pier is also pleased to announce the appointment of Kate Dodd. With 15 years of journalism experience, Kate brings extensive knowledge of the media and a wealth of writing experience.
Her most recent role was deputy head of news at the East Anglian Daily Times and Ipswich Star in Suffolk.
Newly appointed as an account manager, Kate said: “I am delighted to be working for award-winning Pier as I branch out into PR and marketing.
“I had experience of working with Pier as a journalist and I was impressed by how professional, pro-active and creative they were. It is an exciting and challenging role for me and I can’t wait to become a real team asset.”
