This week, following the final of The Great British Bake Off, the Pier team whipped up a fantastic selection of cakes in support of Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity and its Big Hour Cake Sale.
Sophie, who works closely with Rainbow Trust says: ‘With baskets of goodies at the ready, we set off to visit neighbours WS Logistics, MEC Transport and Jordon Freight who all made extremely generous donations in exchange for our freshly baked treats.
‘Thanks to our neighbours, we managed to raise an incredible £254, which will help Rainbow Trust provide emotional and practical support for families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness.
‘Thanks also to Wright’s and their delicious cake mixes, which helped the novice bakers in the team create some show-stopping delights.’
