Busy food PR month for Pier!

Pier has been out and about a lot this month looking after our food clients, doing showcases and visiting key media.

We’ve been in the capital telling all our foodie media friends about lots of tasty new products. We started the month off with a showcase at IPC Media for The City Kitchen – a range of contemporary and adventurous dishes from around the world.

We also spent a day with a car full of delicious bread and Mr Hugh’s Cold Pressed Rapeseed Oil going around the different media houses to give our key food contacts a taste of this healthy new rapeseed oil and a sample to take home and try in their cooking.

Later in the month we did a showcase with the lovely Ken Hom. The renowned authority on Oriental cuisine was a pleasure to work with as always and charmed all the journalists who popped along to taste his delectable dishes. We’re looking forward to celebrating Chinese New Year with Ken in February.

To round off the month we introduced our foodie journalists to Gressingham’s new delicious simple-to-cook duck range. The Remarkable Duck People have created these great new dishes: Boozy Duck, Tangy Duck and Sticky Duck, to entice even the most inexperienced cook to cook duck as a tasty midweek treat.
