Championing new local talent in food awards

We're excited to be involved in the much-anticipated return of the Suffolk Food & Drink Awards

Fresh off the back of winning PR Consultancy of the Year, awards season continues, but this time we’re on the other side of the table for the return of some much-loved food awards.

We’re extremely proud to be sponsoring Best Newcomer at the Suffolk Food & Drink Awards, which have returned after a hiatus. We’ll be helping to judge the entries and ultimately shine the spotlight on the talent driving the future of our food and drink industry.

Why? Well, as a proud Suffolk business serving the food and drink industry, we know first-hand just how much talent we have got on our doorstep. From the diversity of produce to world-class innovations, Suffolk is an absolute haven for foodies and we love being so spoilt for choice in our home county.

Best Newcomer is open to any business or individual who has started a food and/or drink venture in the last three years (having opened after 29 April 2021). We will be looking for an outstanding early stage business which has already become a success story or shows promise to become one. The winner will be a company which is able to demonstrate a pioneering approach, strong performance over the past year, as well as the potential to flourish and be sustainable. Among the qualities we’ll be looking for are a dedicated effort to drive the business forward, potential and vision.

If that sounds like you, get entering! The deadline for entries is Sunday 7th January 2024.

There are plenty of other exciting categories in the awards, including Best Suffolk Producer, Field to Fork and Food and Drink Retailer of the Year. So if you’re a food or drink business in Suffolk, check it out, it’s free to enter.

We can’t wait for the final in April next year to play our small part in rewarding the best of the best in Suffolk’s food and drink industry.
