Golden Future For Pier

Pier has been recognised as the ‘best of the best’ in the Chartered Institute of Public Relations PRide Awards, Anglia, Thames and Chiltern, 2014, collecting the Gold award for Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy.

The CIPR PRide Awards recognise excellence in public relations and communications work across 9 UK areas and this year attracted over 1,100 entries.

The Judges were impressed by Pier’s buzz and energy and commented that “In exceeding their budgeted turnover growth by over double in the last year, their strategy of staying focused on the client’s objectives is clearly working”. The Judges felt that Pier’s entry “placed them above others as an outstanding consultancy”.

Pier was also shortlisted in the ‘Best Use of Media Relations’ category.  Earlier this year the company also secured a position as national finalist in The Grocer Marketing, Advertising and PR Awards 2014 in the category of ‘Consumer PR Campaign of the Year’.

Kate Bowden Smith, Pier Director, said “I am delighted that Pier has been recognised as the oustanding public relations consultancy across the Anglia, Thames and Chiltern region.  This is a great achievement which recognises the excellent work we do for our clients as well as the enthusiasm and commitment of the whole team.”
