Pier Scores with Renewable Energy Grant

Suffolk PR firm, Pier, is delighted to be working once again in the East of England’s thriving renewable energy sector.

Following a successful competitive pitch, Pier is implementing an integrated marketing campaign on behalf of SCORE, an ERDF* grant specifically aimed at SMEs across East Anglia involved in the offshore renewable energy sector and its supply chain.

Kate Bowden Smith, director at Pier, says: “SCORE is a fantastic opportunity for businesses in the region and some highly innovative SMEs are already reaping the benefits of funding.  We are working closely with the project manager to provide strategic communications advice, as well as developing a range of marketing materials to raise awareness of the fund.”

Both trade and regional media have been receptive to news of the fund and highlights include a feature on BBC Look East earlier this month, showcasing Norwich-based Norcom, and its ‘Google Maps’ for the sea software, e-Chart Service.
