Pier launches City Kitchen digital extravaganza

To support the launch of 25 delicious new City Kitchen meals for January 2014, Suffolk PR firm Pier has been working closely on the much-loved brand to update its digital offering.

To promote the flavoursome additions of the contemporary and world flavour dishes, the food PR team at Pier has managed a raft of online activity.  January saw the launch of a redeveloped City Kitchen website, including a geo-locator mechanic, a Facebook competition app, a £1 off coupon app and a range of short Youtube lifestyle films all go live.

Paula Bennett, Pier Account Director, comments, “The City Kitchen is a young, fresh and vibrant brand so it has been fantastic to reflect that with an array of interactive online activity.  The City Kitchen social media pages have become a real forum for consumers to engage with the brand and each other, resulting in increased awareness amongst The City Kitchen’s target audience.”
