In July, Pier was delighted to be appointed by leading logistics provider, Pentalver, to launch a UK first that is set to boost the country’s second hand car export market.
The UK’s first vehicle pre-clearance facility is housed at Pentalver’s Felixstowe depot and is a result of a partnership with global vehicle logistics specialist Autohub and international inspection company, JEVIC. The facility has been developed to pre-clear premium used vehicles destined for New Zealand.
As well as securing extensive coverage and raising the profile of Pentalver, the facility has gone on to win the ‘Supply Chain Partnership’ category at this year’s Global Freight Awards.
