Suffolk based Pier is delighted to announce its appointment by leading world food supplier, Surya.
Based in Harwich, Surya has appointed Pier to raise its profile as one of the UK’s leading providers of world food lines and leading supplier of ethnic foods to Tesco and Asda.
Initial projects include the development of Jamaica Week to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Jamaican Independence as well as the launch of Caymanas Rum Cakes.
With a heritage in rice production, in recent years Surya has been focusing on emerging markets and bringing new exotic world flavours to the doorstep of UK shopper, This year alone Surya has launched a number of new lines in Tesco’s world food aisles, including authentic fare from Africa, Jamaica, Latin America, Sri Lanka and the Philippines.
