Pier Launches Roadways’ New Road Safety Campaign

Suffolk based PR agency, Pier has recently visited two local schools in Hampshire to launch a new initiative for leading logistics provider Roadways.

The innovative project called the Rory Road Safety programme sees a bespoke 44 tonne container vehicle visit primary schools to teach children about the potential hazards of being in close proximity to a large goods vehicle.

Kate Bowden Smith, director at Pier says: “Visiting schools with the Roadways team really brings home the impact the Rory training has on its pupils. In addition to raising awareness of corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, Pier’s work with Roadways includes integrated marketing communications, PR and internal communications.”
