Pier Scoops Double Silver Award at East Anglian PRide Awards

Suffolk PR agency Pier was presented with two silver awards last night at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations PRide Awards, Anglia, Thames and Chiltern.

Winning silver in the Outstanding Small Public Relations Agency category, Pier also impressed the judges with its integrated food PR campaign ‘Take 5 and Make a Difference’ for Kerry Foods’ LowLow frozen ready meals, which won the team an additional silver accolade.

The awards recognise excellence and achievement in public relations across nine UK regions, with the Anglia, Thames and Chiltern region kicking off the start of the celebrations in the beautiful university grounds of Homerton College, Cambridge.

Pier director, Kate Bowden Smith, comments: “Last night’s award ceremony highlighted some of the amazing work being undertaken by PR practitioners across the region. The team at Pier have worked tirelessly over the last year to create some amazing results for our clients, so I am delighted their hard work has been recognised with these award wins.”

Felixstowe based Pier works on a variety of national and regional PR campaigns, with specialist teams delivering expertise across retail and food PR, offshore renewable PR, as well as the yachting, marine and charity sectors.
